Here are some pictures of the newest member of our family......named by the kids. The name Rhino came from the hamster in the movie Bolt and the kids felt like Rhino needed a middle name or two also. :)
We all love him already and can't wait to hold him and let him play in his red ball after he gets used to his new home.

We had a hamster once and it only peed outside of the cage. It literally stuck his butt out of the cage and peed on the wall..seriously. He was cute though..
but I know this lil guy will make a good pet!
Thankfully our hamster days are over now that Emily is married! One of ours escaped on Christmas Eve one year and was found alive and well a day or two later in the bottom of a really tall cardboard box which was storing curtain poles.
I remember two hamsters when I was a kid... we ended up with hundreds! Luckily we were able to find good homes for them all.. needless to say I never wanted a hamster again. ;)
