A new look. A new me.

A new look for the blog.  Thanks of course to my talented husband, Tom, for making me a new blog header.  I really need him to give me a lesson on how to make those things! :)

I am starting a few "new" things this week...

Tom and I jumped back on the diet bandwagon on Monday, the 1st.  We had not been exercising/counting calories since May and I had gained back 5 of the 33 pounds I had lost since I first started trying to lose weight in September.  I am hoping for a new look weight loss wise over the next few months.

I took the Facebook app off my iPhone.  That is a definite new thing for me.  Now I only get on Facebook when I get on my laptop, so it's obviously not as quick and easy as when it's right on your phone...which is my intent.

One new thing I'm hoping to do is to spend more time blogging and journaling my life.  I have enjoyed looking back over some of the previous years of blog posts in recent months.  It's a great way to connect with you and to remember things that I would not remember otherwise.  I have a terrible memory...seriously.

What else is new?

School starts in a couple of weeks.  It's a new stage for me as I am now the mother of a middle schooler.  Yikes!

Oh, one more...another new thing for me is that I think I broke my toe.  I hit it on something.  It's a little swollen and hurts to walk on it, so I figure it's broken???  Not a good new thing, but since we're talking about new things I guess it fits into this blog post!

What's new with you?

Leah

Love the header. Last week we also got back on the exercise program. During the school year I never missed a day working out, but summer has been another story. I also watch Joyce Meyer while I walk on the treadmill so she started a 4 week boot camp so that fit perfectly into the workout. Can't wait to keep up with you on the blog.
Blessings!

Your new blog design is great! I enjoyed reading all the new things in our life. The biggest new thing is our puppy and house training him:)
