Egg and Soldiers

I have been wanting to get some egg cups to make "egg and soldiers" for my kids. I finally got around to it today! I grew up eating this for breakfast in England.

In case you are not sure what I'm talking about, it's a soft-boiled egg served in an egg cup. You cut off the top of the egg with a spoon, then add a little salt into the egg. Then cut some toast into strips and dip them in the runny yolk. The strips of toast are the "soldiers".

We had these for breakfast this morning. Lexi loved it, but Ty is not a fan of eggs, so he enjoyed the toast only.   I got these cute spiral egg cups!

It's the simple things in life, right? :)
